T-Shirt Printing

T-Shirt Printing

by CAS Advising, Retention, and Recruitment Team

Members of the CAS Advising, Retention, and Recruitment team came to the Design and Build Lab to learn how to create their own t-shirts!  Within two hours, the team learned several skills.  First, they learned how to create and import a simple design with the free 2D CAD software, Inkscape.  There is a specific workshop available shown on the calendar if you would like to learn this skill as well.  The team also learned how to print their design on the DaBL's own 40 inch vinyl cutter.  Each member then cut their designs, and used the lab's heat press to put them permanently on their own t-shirt.  All materials and skills were provided for free by the lab and its employees!  If you'd like to learn how to make your own t-shirt as well, check the calendar on the website and come to a Inkscape or T-shirt making workshop!
